Patakil Sihin (snakegaurd)

You will need: 
Snake gourd (patakil/Padwalkai) - 1 no. (peeled and chopped finely)
Green Chilli - 1
Jaggery - 2 tbsp
Rice - 1 tbsp (soaked in water for about 10 mins)
Grated Coconut - 1/2 

Salt to Taste
Urad Dal seasoning

Boil Snake gourd with green chilli and jaggery. 

Grind rice and grated coconut. 
Add this to the snake gourd mix. Add Salt.
Add seasoning



Goes very well with Rice

Serves about 3-4 people

The same can be made with Ridgegourd (Heere Kai/Peere)
