Methi leaves Rice

You will need:
Rice - 2 Cups (Soaked for 20 mins and roasted).
Methi leaves- 3 cups (chopped finely)
Onion - 2 (sliced)
Oil - 1 tbsp
Green peas - 1 cup
Garam Masala powder - 1 tbsp
Red Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Sugar - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Water - 4 cups

Heat oil in a pan  (pressure cooker would do fine)
Fry onions. Add Rice, roast till it turns white.
Add Methi leaves and green peas. Saute it for about 5 mins
Add water, garam masala, red chilli powder, sugar & salt.
Cook it for 20 mins or if it is a pressure cooker wait until 2 whistles.


Serves about 6 people
Goes very well with Daal.
Skill Level: Easy to intermediate.
