Bisi Bele Baath

You will need: 
Rice - 2 Cups (300 gms)
Pegion Pea (Tur) - 1 Cup

Mixed veg - 3 cups (Beans, Potato, Carrot, Green peas)
Peanuts - 1/2 cup
Turmeric - 1 tsp
Salt


Seasoning: 
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 2 tsp
Red Chillies - 2
Curry Leaves - 6- 9



For the Masala: 
Cinnamon  - 3 inch
Clove - 5-6
Cardamom - 2
Coriander seeds - 2 tsp
Bengal gram - 2 tsp
Saunf - 1 tsp
Pepper seeds - 1/2 tsp
Red Chillies - 3
Coconut - 1/2 cup
Tamarind - 1 lemon size

Roast all the ingredients for Masala except for Coconut and Tamarind.
Grind everything with Coconut & tamarind into a fine paste.
Pressure cook Rice keep it aside.
Pressure cook daal, veg and peanuts along with Turmeric.

Heat a large vessel, put the masala and add 2 -3 glasses of water. Add salt. Boil it for 5 mins.
Add Rice, Veg, Daal. mix well.
Cook for about 10 mins on a high flame. Stirring occasionally. 
Cook for 5 mins on a low flame.
Add the ghee seasoning. 

Serve it along with ghee and boondi/potato wafers/ Potato Raitha/ Mix veg Raitha.
